About Me

10 Jul

I have taken a winding path through my early career years so far.  I was determined to work in Advertising in New York City when I graduated college, and that’s exactly what I did.  A few left turns later, and I found myself going to grad school to become a librarian.

I am currently enjoying a life of leisure between completing my MLS at Syracuse University and beginning my career as a school media specialist in a fabulous public elementary school in September 2012.  In between adoring my small dog, loitering in cafes, attending weddings and looking at photos of acquaintances’ babies on Facebook, I also serve as co-president of the Greenpoint Public Library Friends group, which raises money and awareness for our neighborhood public library branch.  My previous experience includes media planning, event planning, and website content management.
